FW Thorpe Plc has been independently assessed as carbon neutral since 2012. Company-wide initiatives such as energy use minimisation, self-generation of renewable energy through solar photovoltaic (PV) units, and procurement of renewable energy have reduced the Group’s carbon footprint, whilst trees in its award-winning carbon offsetting afforestation project absorb the remaining carbon dioxide produced.
